Explore easy to implement, yet highly effective, preventative strategies which increase student engagement and decrease challenging behaviors. You will learn to deliver in your classroom the core components to implement: Instructional Choice Active Student Response Methods Behavior-Specific Praise Active Supervision, and Precorrection You will be exposed to examples to assist in demonstrating how each strategy can be implemented, both individually and in combination, across classroom environments, instructional activities, and with various staff members. Common implementation errors will be analyzed and recommendations to increase fidelity will be provided. Downloadable resources to ease implementation will be provided for each strategy.

Amanda Wilson and Danielle Gonyea are Co-Founders of Navigating Behavior Change. Their primary goal is to assist educators in teaching and improving the lives of at-risk students who exhibit challenging behaviors. We know that true, long-term behavior change requires the participation of a team of adults. Therefore, we strive to provide high-quality support to teachers, administrators, school psychologists, behavior analysts, and other service providers. Both began their careers in the classroom and soon found behavior analysis as a solution to classroom learning issues.
