This workshop will have you focusing on revitalizing your classroom instructional practices to maximize student learning throughout the school year. In this workshop, you will spend the majority of your time prioritizing and sequencing your NGSS standards in a way that best fits your students' needs. You'll learn how to incorporate the materials you've already got to build a rigorous curriculum that will not only help your students recover from the past year of uncertainties, but also prepare them for the grade levels ahead. You will engage in hands-on activities at your grade level and learn how to create similar engaging activities in your classroom that are high impact, but low prep! Teaching to the standards starts with a well-developed curriculum and ends in success! Leave this workshop with templates, materials, and a clear plan laid out to ease your stress throughout the school year.
Takeaways: Leave with a complete curriculum map and pacing guide based on the standards at your grade level and free resources to supplement your curriculum. Everything will be differentiated so that all activities are geared towards your exact grade level.
