Embracing the Core of Innovative Teaching and Learning to Thrive in Any Learning Space
Featuring George Couros
In this course with Illinois ASCD, George Couros will discuss the importance of changing pedagogies while identifying the “core” values we need to focus on so that we can ensure our communities find success both in an academic setting, as well as embracing the innovator’s mindset both in and out of school.
Each week, George will focus on the four core elements (Building Relationships, Learner-Driven Practice, Empowering Learners, and Becoming Master Learners) and will provide practical ideas on how this can be implemented while adapting to lead conversations with the group to address current needs. One of the most important elements of this course is that educators will be able to come together to learn with George, as well as other members of the cohort.
