The connection between effective homework guidance and independent practice that occurs during remote learning or in-person learning. Deliberate homework and remote learning should be reasonable, meaningful, informative, and consistent. What criteria guide decisions for assigning reasonable and meaningful homework? Homework and remote learning should be reasonable regarding completion time, complexity, and frequency.
Homework and remote learning should be meaningful regarding purpose, learning targets, learning mindset, format, and sequence.
Homework and remote learning should be informative regarding communication, feedback, and grading criteria.
Homework and remote learning should be consistent regarding implementation.
- Once you register, you will be given on-line access to all three onehour sessions which you may view any time you can fit it into your schedule.
- Erik will be setting up Zoom "office hours" for on-line discussions the week of November16th and January 25th.
