Collaborative Expertise Teams — CETeams™

(2-Day Institute) with Dave Nagel

 Day 1: Feb. 1, 2019

Day 2: April 30, 2019

This engaging two-day institute will guide participants to develop an understanding of the crucial actions that must take place in all collaborative settings to best impact both student and adult learning.

Day 1 will help all current or existing PLCs to develop a solid understanding of the CETeams™ 4-step process.

These simple but significant steps help set the direction and focus for all PLC meetings with a focus on teacher-teams making quality inferences from assessment results to be able to make decisive and effective instructional adjustments.

Step 1: Chart / Examine Evidence

Step 2: Formulate Quality Inferences Into Student Learning

Step 3: Determine Actions & Strategies

Step 4: Establish Success Indicators

Day 2 will focus on core elements that drive impact into student learning from collaborative settings:

1. Developing common challenges to unite efforts and passions.

2. Ensuring relational trust is being developed and cultivated among the adults.

3. Teams developing efficacy through empowerment & appropriate structured freedom.

4. Development & consistent use of the authentic instructional protocols that drive the actions and discourse of the team.

5. Ensuring adult learning is always taking place as this is the catalyst for all levels of impact of any PLC on student learning.

Next, participants will identify strengths and opportunities in their current collaborative settings that focus on developing deep levels of collective teacher efficacy. We will learn how to use and implement specific CETeam tools to establish a culture for harnessing collective intelligence through exchange and cooperation. Finally, attendees will develop a plan for comprehensive data analysis and CETeams implementation in their schools.
