9:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT

6 PD Hours  (3 Hours Prep, 3 Hours Workshop)

Change has been upon us for quite some time and now more than ever. Educators, leaders, and schools are being asked to adjust to rapid changes in unprecedented ways. Yet at the heart of this urgency are talented people with something to offer and a desire to rise to the occasion, yet unfortunately may not always find pathways for doing so. If we lean into each individual's genius, it is possible to build those pathways toward sustainable changes for the system, but most importantly, for the young people we serve. Through an "archetypal approach" to organizational change, we can get there faster and more thoughtfully. By applying 8 change archetypes to our approaches for leading change, schools, districts, and organizations can tap into the latent talent within them, to not only collaborate toward a better future but also support each individual's well-being.

You will learn about the 8 Archetypes and how they drive change

  • Diplomats who build relationships and value fairness and integrity.
  • Champions who are passionate about a cause and advocate for people and ideals.
  • Creatives who approach things through novelty and ingenuity.
  • Storytellers who are thoughtful, attentive to details, and clear communicators.
  • Inventors who are forward thinkers who operate through free experimentation.
  • Sages who are perceptive, insightful, and persuasive.
  • Investigators who have an analytical curiosity, ask probing questions and conduct thorough research.
  • Guardians who have compassion for and are drawn to nurture and protect others.
