Request for Proposals - 2024 Pre-K, Kinder & 1st Grade Conference

43rd Annual ILASCD Pre-K, Kindergarten,

and 1st Grade Conference

Call for Proposals

February 29 - March 1, 2024

Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center

 

 

Come work alongside 120 national and local presenters, such as Kim Adsit, Mary Amoson, Marsha Maguire, Kim Jordano, Hilary Statum, Katie Mense, Adam Peterson, Greg Smedley-Warren, Deedee Wills, Jackie Kops, and many more.

 

Please submit a proposal using the portal below. All submissions should have a summary with a session outline designed for a 60-minute session.

 

We are looking for topics ranging from Math, Science, Reading, Writing, Classroom Management, Teacher Self-Care, Working with Parents, Effective use of Classroom Volunteers, Bilingual, Equitable Curriculum, Social Emotional Learning, Autism, Early Childhood Trauma, Centers, and STEAM. We also want to hear your new ideas for a topic! 

 

We need sessions covering grade ranges from Pre-K to 1st Grade.

 

Summaries and outlines should not exceed one typed page and should be submitted to [email protected], Subject:  "PRE-K/K Proposal Summary".   

 

Only proposals with summaries and outlines will be considered. 

 

Submissions are due by June 20th

 

Session availability is limited, please submit your proposal as soon as possible.

 

What are the perks of being a Concurrent Presenter?  

 

Accepting your proposal entitles you and your co-presenter/s to a FREE two-day registration fee for Thursday, Febuary 29 and Friday, March 1st.  As a current presenter, you and your co-presenters will receive Yummy Coupons (meal tickets) and a Presenter Badge/s at the conference.  Your badge/s will act as an open session ticket, and you may attend any of the sessions you desire to attend.  You will receive your badge and Yummy Coupons at Conference Headquarters on the day of your arrival.
