Culture is as culture does!

The culture of any organization, from a large company to a small family, is what makes that organization effective. A culture is the behaviors and beliefs of a particular group. If those behaviors and beliefs are not defined, communicated and led then culture will become what people think is best or what comes natural. Culture has impact on everything we do, everything we are and everything we become. It even has impact on the bottom line. Yet, it is the one thing we seem to have the toughest time creating and maintaining. Culture is also defined by the individuals on your team…their personalities, their values, and their weirdness. How do we navigate through all that to create the kind of culture that will sustain into the future and help people be their best? That is the goal of leadership; to create a culture in which people can come to work and be the best version of themselves.
