Illinois ASCD Regional
Representatives
The State of Illinois is divided into
22 geographic regions with a Regional Representatives in each region
who is a member of the Illinois ASCD Board of Directors. Their
responsibilities include (1) communicating with educators from the
region they represent; (2) promoting membership in Illinois ASCD
among educators within their region; (3) assisting with
professional development sponsored by Illinois ASCD in their
respective region; (4) keeping the Illinois ASCD Board of Directors
apprised of personnel vacancies, educational issues and concerns,
and staff development needs of their respective regions. Working
under each Regional Representative will be one or more Communication
Liaisons who will provide further outreach in each respective
region.
